＂We have three boys with moderate autism. During my research I found that probiotics can make a difference for children with autism. My son started not hitting his marks at the doctors office shortly after I stopped nursing at 1 year. I tried everything to try to get him to eat a healthy diet but he is picky and doesn’t like texture of certain foods. I’ve bought so many vitamins to try to support his body and they would just upset his stomach. In researching how to help her, I came across this probiotic. She always had loose watery stool also. Within a week of using this, her bowel movements became regular, and she is trying to say new words. I don’t know if this has actually helped with her speech and communication or if it was a coincidence, but it absolutely has helped her be more regular. Either way, we will definitley continue to use this! We had tried other probiotics previously with no improvements. She drinks it in her milk no problem at all. ＂I have tried quite a few probiotics for my son, who has autism and can have constipation issues. This is the most gentle brand and I can add it to his milk and he can't detect it. Other brands of probiotics fix his constipation issues too well, causing him diarrhea and diaper rash. I'm just very thankful for this brand of probiotics. ＂My 2 year old has autism and will drink this mixed with his normal drinks. Ha shelved normalize bowel movements. ＂I switched my 3 year old to this brand from another brand. He has digestive issues (common for kids with autism), but the other probiotic wasn’t helping. This one has made a huge difference in helping him have more solid bowel movements. Prior to switching, he had gone months without a solid bm. The only drawback is that it doesn’t easily dissolve, so sometimes there are clumps of it in his applesauce that we mix it in. ＂My son has autism and has difficulty taking gummies or chewable things. I can easily mix this probiotic powder in his drinks without him noticing. It has helped to keep him regular and helps his tummy feel better overall. ＂We have been giving these probiotics to our three year old daughter with autism for a couple months now. ＂I have a son with autism, he tosses and turns for hours in bed if he doesn't have melatonin. Our son has Autism and was having a hard time falling asleep- just wanted to keep going and would have meltdowns when he got overtired. Ever since melatonin- no problems at bed time ;) ＂My two kids had ADHD and Autism (high functioning) and both have issues falling asleep. My 12 year old is usually very hyperactive beginning after dinner until the time comes where he just cannot stay awake any longer and galls asleep, literally is either 100 or 0, every day. My youngest (9) gets anxious at bedtime and has a hard time calming down for bed. I had these in the medicine cabinet for a vacation we were going to take, in case they needed to sleep in the car, and forgot about them (due to canceling plans from COVID). I remembered they were in there last week during a particularly rough night for my son and gave each one tablet (the recommended dose for them is 3 tablets). My 9 year old fell asleep in about 20 minutes but my 12 year old wasn't really affected much. The next night I gave him 2 tablets and withing 20 minutes he was so calm and asked to go to bed *WHAT?!* and was asleep 10 minutes later. Both kids stayed asleep all night and did not wake up groggy. ＂Since as far back as I can remember my son always had trouble falling asleep / staying asleep. He has Mild Autism and is 4yrs old, I've tried other types of Melatonin liquids and seemed to not work, just making him grouchy and hyper the next day. This small chewable Zarbee's Worked Great!! Seriously within 30min he was asleep. ＂It makes a difference what melatonin my son takes. He has Autism and tends to get irritated on other brands. I always used Vitafusion all natural Melatonin. I think he developed a tolerance to the 3mg. I tried Zarbees and he is calm after and he takes only 2mg of Zarbees. I didn't give it a 5 on the flavor because he holds his nose and takes them with water. He does that will all medicine though. Some melatonin causes dreams and irritation, I'm glad that Zarbees does not. ＂These are perfect my dr recommended for my 9 yr old who is on high spectrum of autism, and has anxiety issues, sllep is a big deal, he can't shut his brain off. I give him only 1 n within 15 min he's out, but he will still wake up in middle of night. ＂Love this stuff! Really helps our 3 year old son whom has autism go to sleep. 😊 ＂Unless your child has ADHD, Autism, or another medical diagnosis, affecting sleep disturbance, I would avoid this supplement. We were at a friends house and they swore by it, so we allowed our 2 and 4 year old to have one. Our children do not have behavior or sleep issues. After taking one gummy, they were both irritable, crying uncontrollably, seemed confused, and stoned. I would absolutely not recommend this medication. ＂We use these to help our Autistic son get to sleep at night. Children with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) have issues with their circadian rhythms and it makes it difficult for them to get their sleep habits straight. Ever since we started giving our son these about an hour before bedtime he's had a much easier time falling AND staying asleep. ＂Our son is 3yrs old and has Autism. We don’t give this every night to our son, but sometimes we give him one pill on days that he wasn’t as active, or on those restless nights that he can’t fall asleep. It used to take him about one hour of kicking, mumbling, getting out of bed, rolling on bed etc. to fall asleep. At first we tried not to give him any sleep aid, however our doctor said it was OK to give him Melatonin if he can’t fall asleep in less than half and hour and has trouble deep sleeping. It’s best if you give the child the pill at the start of the bedtime rutine, this way the effects has time to work ＂Our psychologist recommended melatonin for our three year old...and I choose this brand. Our son is autistic and his entire life he's struggled with sleep. I hate giving him any sort of medication and I only recommend this as a last resort. But when you've been rocking your child to sleep for naps/bedtime and then multiple times in the night for the last three years of your life...I'd call that a last resort. So now, three months later, we are still giving these pills to him. Nightly, I crush up one pill and put it in some almond milk before bed. It must taste good because he suddenly loves the almond milk where he didn't before. I'm also happy to say I am no longer rocking him and he's sleeping soundly at night. Yay!!! Some nights I give him half a pill and some nights I skip the pill when he's skipped his nap. This has been a life saver for me and my son seems happier in general lately. (Probably because he's sleeping better.) I'm not sure how long I will continue to give them to him, but for now it's working for us. Oh, and our psychologist told us kids with autism sometimes don't produce enough melatonin naturally so it is common among them. Whether your child is normal or not, I'd recommend talking with your doctor before starting something like this. :) ＂Second order. They help when in need. My kids have autism and sometimes we need a bit of help for bedtime. ＂My son is autistic and from birth his sleep patterns were all over the place. At least twice a week we would get calls from staff to pick him up early from school because they simply could not control him and his behavior. Although i would suggest 'half' a gummie first to see if it works. You don't really know the full side effects of giving this to kids. Supposedly, some people only need 0.5mg. They are the same exact dose per gummy as their kid version.. Except the kids bottle has them take one gummy, and these adults have grown ups take two.. So, I am saving money getting twice as many for a couple more dollars. He eats them no problem. I really don't know how well gummy probiotics or vitamines actually work.. But I like the fact these have Pre/Probiotics, gelatin free, non-GMO, Natural flavors and colors, and Vegan. ＂My son has been suffering from IBS associated with Autism for years. ＂I took this vitamin during one of my pregnancies but it ended up being too much iron. If you are getting iron from your food then you do not need 160% of your daily value of iron from a vitamin on top of that. Plus alot of the other vitamins included are way higher than 100% of your daily value which is too much. It is best for you to get your vitamins from food. Also, iron excess is being linked to autism and allergies so it is better to get iron only from food and not take so much that your body can't decide whether it needs it or not. Plus our food is fortified with so much iron that you get a lot anyway, just look at your cereal and any processed food like pasta. Please be more careful than I was. There are other natural prenatals with only 18mg of iron which is much better if you are going to take some during the pregnancy. It is just better to get the iron all from food anyway or take a prenatal not containing iron. When your doctor tests your iron make sure they are not just testing your hemoglobin and hematocrit, they need to test serum iron before you take extra iron to avoid risks. ＂I really thought these were going to be all natural ingredients but there are some that are synthetic including folic acid. There has recently been studies linking too much folic acid to autism. Folate is the substance that is naturally found in foods. I found a prenatal that does have folate instead of folic acid - Vitamin Code (Garden of Life) Prenatals if you are interested. This prenatal vitamin, however, is much better than other ones that are loaded with synthetic substances!

＂This is an excellent product. The best fish oil highly recommended. I recieved the product with a broken seal and the product is not usable if the seal is broken and it can be harmful. This is used as a medicine for my five year old son on the autism spectrum. I have been struggling for last two months for a refund for the damaged product recieved. So my advise will be to not order such expensive imported products through Amazon as they a long time to reach and also there is no surety of getting the refund. I waited for a long time for this product and then recieved damaged product. Do not buy products sold by the global genie company. My sons treatment is halted and I am struggling with the seller for a refund. ＂I started giving this fish oil to my 3.5 year old son, along with inulin powder, as part of the Nemenchek Protocol for autism. My nonverbal son started babbling more within a week and within 3 months we saw speech emerge. We still have a long way to go but we have seen incredible progress. Even his therapists have commented on his speech development.
＂My 12 year old son is on the autism spectrum and has eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE). He takes several medications to manage the symptoms of his autism and has a very limited diet due to his EoE. While he doesn’t necessarily have a diagnosis of anxiety or ADHD, his autism presents those symptoms due to issues with the executive functioning in his brain. His poor diet leaves him with low folate levels and low iron as well which on top of making him feel crummy sometimes, impacts his mood and mental state. Our neuropsychiatrist did a cheek swab DNA test on my son to assess how he metabolizes medications as well as identify genetic indicators to help us narrow down which medications will work best for him. We found that he poorly processes folate which in turn means he doesn’t absorb as much of his medications as he should. He already struggles with getting enough folate in his diet and to not absorb it properly only makes matters worse. She recommended we augment his diet/medications with an L- methylfolate supplement. It would in theory increase the effectiveness of his medications and ultimately reduce the dosage levels of his medications as it allows his body to better absorb the medications as well as improve his overall health. Originally we attempted to get this as a prescription but due to the nature of our prescription insurance they only allowed us to obtain it via mail. The doctor ordered twice and it never showed. For over a year my son took his medications without the supplement and we were always having to tweak the dosage or timing as he just wasn’t getting the duration of “coverage” from the meds as he should. Over the summer, we usually like to take a break from a lot of his medications (like ADHD meds). I remembered we were wanting to try this supplement and I know this type of supplement normally helps with energy, focus and mood. I ordered it at the beginning of summer and as we weaned my son off all but one medication, he remained stable and had little to no change in his disposition or functionality thanks to this pill. He takes one in the morning daily and he reports it helps him feel focused, less anxious or irritable, he is in a good mood, and isn’t groggy or feel fuzzy like some of his prescriptions make him feel. When he started 6th grade this past August, we decided to not put him on ADHD meds to help him focus on school because he was doing so well without it. We reduced the dosage of his anxiety meds and haven’t had to increase his mood stabilizer and kept it on the lowest dose to help with his anxiety and impulsivity which usually looks like ADHD in a school setting. Despite moving up to middle school with an increased course load and difficulty in material, he’s doing better this year than he ever has. He has high functioning autism and has a high IQ but has always struggled with focus and staying on task as he easily gets bored or distracted. Supplementing his medications with this is without a doubt a game changer. There are days where we have forgotten to give it to him and it isn’t super obvious but something is definitely off. It makes a difference; it fine tunes and increases the benefits we see from his medications. It also seems to help his overall health and he’s finally grown taller and gained weight thanks to being able to better absorb nutrients from his diet which has always been a struggle. It has worth every penny paying out of pocket for this supplement. It helps that Amazon has a discount when you subscribe and I qualify for the 15% discount which makes a difference. I highly recommend this for anyone whose doctor has advised they supplement their diet with L-methyfolate.

These are easy to swallow pills and are the perfect dose, which we've noticed is good for the ASD kids who typically need more than the more common 3mg dose. He's 13 now and has been taking it for about 8 years. ＂Loved this product for both myself and my 11 year old! The flavors of the gummy are bright and yummy tasting, and they have a wonderful soft texture that feels it is starting to melt in your mouth a bit when you chew them. My last vitamin D gummies were awful because they had the texture of gummy bears, which mercilessly stick to your teeth, and that D did so as well, but these are not like that. How many great things can I say about this product? First and best, no artificial crap! No corn syrup, no dextrose, no maltodextrin like I have found in other vitamins. Love, love, love that they are non-GMO, gluten-free, and soy-free. And no icky aftertaste! One thing I observed is that it was different from other D I have tried - my nails usually shoot out really long really quickly when I get back on the "D train". When this didn't happen right away, I was like, "hmm...", BUT, the great news is that though my nails grew out more slowly (more naturally, perhaps?), they were SO much stronger than previous D vitamins I have tried...a happy surprise! Oh, and no sheep lanolin sourced D in these. Though as a meat-eating Chicago girl I'm not a vegetarian, the idea that my vitamins in the past have come from lanolin is a little creepy. These are sourced from wild lichen, which make me like 'em, haha (okay, say it out loud, people). I have used other MaryRuth products and found them to be equally fantastic. I look forward to anything this woman is going to put out because I haven't had a bad experience yet. My only suggestion? ＂This little wonder mushroom is awesome! it was recommended to me for speech delays. I cant start to tell on the improvement of quality of life this has offered to my child on the Autism spectrum... First, when he began to take it, he hardly spoke, he barely slept at night, and was quite sickly considering he's in daycare and gets germs from his little classmates. After 2 weeks of daily use, he began to expand his vocabulary, now after about 4 months of use he's almost fully verbal, with that his temper has improved as he doesn't get as frustrated as before because he can verbally express his needs and wants. His sleep has increased as well, for 3 years he would normally wake up 2-3 times at night and struggle with falling asleep... being that I'm a single mommy, it was tiring because I work full time, but now, he is able to fall asleep much faster, and stay asleep, the thing I thought would never happen with me. And as far as his health, I can tell you that my oldest son gets sick, I have been sick, and I'm sure his little classmates have brought to daycare quite the cocktail of germs and viruses, but he has been clear of any illnesses. ＂My son was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, a form of Autism. Each night we would be up until 3 a.m. in the morning because he could not settle his body down enough to sleep. He would then wake up at 7 a.m., being overtired. Often he would throw numerous tantrums, and be fatigued frequently throughout the day compromising his ability to learn. Being very aware of what he needed to regulate himself at an early age, he begged us at age 6 for sleeping pills to help him calm down and help slow down his racing thoughts at bedtime. We spoke with his doctor because of his behavior and because we were concerned about his repeated request for sleeping pills, consulting a leading adolescent neurologist in our area. She suggested melatonin for our son because she explained to us that many children who are autistic have issues with their bodies producing enough melatonin naturally. Subsequent tests on our son did in fact reveal that his body did not produce enough melatonin so we felt that this was a safe alternative for him. He has been taking it ever since, and our child who once had tantrums throughout the day due to being overtired, is now happy, content, and tantrums have become minimal. Melatonin may not be for everyone, but this product was a lifesaver for us. He feels better knowing that we did all we could to help him sleep at night (because as a parent you want to help your child especially when they feel so much distress) and we feel better that he is taking a product that has other supplemental benefits (this one contains an additional B vitamin he was already deficient in). If that weren't bad enough, none of the foods I am willing to eat contain enough magnesium to keep me from being deficient in magnesium, so I really don't get any dietary magnesium at all (I probably get a little bit, but it's nowhere near enough to keep me from being very deficient).
